What little kid 3 years of age does not like to play with some form on Play -Doh. Well mine just absolutely LOVES to make cookies out of her squishy as she calls it. Today we "baked" cookies and served them to daddy.

Ultimate Approval
Over the weekend we where very fortunate to get to see Grandma & Grandpa Brady. Since Ike decided to pick on Texas and not some other state(s) they choose to take I 20 across to avoid Ike. and got to Abilene on Saturday afternoon. We went out for dinner at Cracker Barrel.
Sunday Brian and Grandpa ran to Lowe's so Brian could fix the sprinkler head the lawn mower attacked. I cooked dinner for grandma & grandpa. We had bbq beef, corn on the cob and mac & cheese. Grandma & grandpa really liked dinner ad my mac & cheese even got grandma's seal of approval. I think I pretty darn good them :)

Nothing much
Nothing has really been going on around here worth while.
Michelle had her 3 yr check up yesterday. She is 30.6 lbs and 38 inches tall. The doctor said she is in the 75% for height and 50% for weight. Mom had mentioned that the next time we make it to Florida for a visit Michelle will probably be able to ride more of the rides at Disney. I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.
Not much else has been going on. Brian spent last week at A&M for fire fighter training and last weekend we worked on getting our sprinklers fixed that needed some attention.

Florida
We made it safe and sound to Florida. With 2 days left until the BIG DAY, the rest of the family has started to arrive. If I remember right they should all be here today. One of Anne's friends is flying in tomorrow evening.
Michelle has been VERY busy checking out Gwama and Pa Pa's house. She has been "playing" with the kitties and "helping" gwama do things.
The weather has be kinda cruddy with rain the last 2 says but I think its gone for a while so we might get to see some sun shine.

Floorda
Michelle is all ready to see Grandma and Pa Pa in Floorda. Yes she can say Florida. I've got most every thing taken care of so we can leave on Sunday afternoon to head for Lufkin.
Things are moving along nicely with Speech Therapy. As of Thursday Michelle will be seeing Carol from now on. Carol is Linsdey's repalcement. we have been seeing Kirsten. On top of playing musical therapist, the place we go to has been remodeling the speech department. Since Speech and PT are located next to each other they have had to share what little seating there is. This can get really fun on a busy day.
I normally don't have to sit near anyone and can knit in peace. Last week I got the pleasure of sitting next to the people who had colds and upper respiratory infections. I am now hoping my icky feeling that I have had since yesterday is just due to the weather and not from people who have the ickies. If I'm not feeling better come Wednesday I'm calling the Doctor to see if I can get in before we leave to make sure I don't have anything.
My knitting is coming along really well and I THINK I can get Michelle's sweater done before we leave.

Bday Prezzies '07
Here are all of my birthday presents. I got my yarn and needles from Mom today. I wanted to wait and have all of my stuff so I could show it in one post.
The alpaca cloud is in the Stream Heather from Knit Picks and OH is it soft. I now need to find a lace project. :) might just do the candle Flame Shaw.
Brian and Michelle got me the expansion pack for The Movies PC Game along with the Priam Guide. And yes the is a Cobalt Blue 5 Qt Artisan Kitchen Aid Mixer. amazon had it on sale for $199.99 and Kitchen Aid has a $30 mail in rebate. How could I not pass that deal up. To top it off I got FREE shipping.

Michelle's Speech Project
Today in Speech Michelle made a docoration for they BIG sleigh they have hanging out on the wall. She made a pink dolly and used markers and glitter. To our surprise Michelle did not try to eat the glitter. She did how ever discover that glue and glitter mixed together is ICKY!

Play Dough
Brian and Michelle made play dough tonight before dinner that way it would cool off enough to play with after we got done eating. We colored it red and Michelle played with her Tupperware rolling pin and mat along with some cookie cutters. Yes Michelle even had to taste the play dough, which is salty .

Speech Therapy
Michelle started Speech therapy today. She did okay but was not very talkative with Lindsey. Lindsey is going to do one on one with Michelle. We are hoping the Michelle will do okay with this if not we will work up to it. Lindsey feels that the one on one is more beneficial and it is more of a student teacher environment. We go to Speech on Thursdays at 10:30.
On a different note, we have found a play group for Michelle. I called on base and they have one on Wednesdays from 10-noon. We are hoping that this will help her speech come along and she will also make some friends.

Thanksgiving Snow
We got snow yesterday. However it is mostly gone now. I took these about 8:30am this morning. At least the street was clear. Most of our snow is gone now but the weatherman is calling for heavy snow, which is 4 inches. So we will wait and see what comes of their predictions.

Michelle
Our little angle will be going to Speech Therapy on Thursdays at 10:30am. We will be working on combining words to make small sentences so we can tell people what we want instead of EH EH EH.
